North American Association for Environmental Education 2008 ConferenceThis year’s NAAEE conference, in Wichita, Kansas, on October 15-18, features many ways to share the message that every action matters in sustaining our planet. During the four days of events, participants also will be inspired by a host of artistic expressions in words, pictures, and songs.
Monarchs in Mexico 2009 Trip 1What makes this trip to the Monarch butterfly Mexican overwintering sites unique? Our itinerary includes three Monarch colonies. You will learn about local efforts to promote sustainable and environmentally sound economic activities with our visits to Alternare and the tree nursery at La Cruz Habitat Protection Project. We will visit at least one school near the Monarch Preserves to donate books that have been purchased through our Mexico Book Project.
